Choosing Quality when Exporting PDF Pages as Images

Pick JPG or PNG and a sensible resolution without exhausting browser memory.

Choose an output format

Try JPG for photographic pages and PNG when crisp text or line art matters. Text that was selectable in the PDF becomes pixels in the exported image.

If you only need a few pages, extract them first with PDF Splitter rather than rendering the whole document.

Balance resolution and memory

A higher scale increases both pixel count and file size. Start low and inspect small text at the actual sharing size.

A long scanned PDF may exceed mobile browser memory. Convert it in smaller parts and compare the ZIP image count with the source page count.
